Tyler Courses in Reidsville

Another fun weekend for Tyler. He was able to lure course, which he loves and spend the weekend outdoors.
An added bonus, 2 of his his offsping from his first litter (Jazzee and Jitterbug) both earned points towards their field championship this weekend. A third girl (Jada) previously earned her SC title.
Also, from his second litter, he now has 4 girls that have earned their JC titles and 2 that have participated in the open stake for the first time. One of those girls, Morgan, placed fifth on Sunday.
Way to go Tyler and his offspring!

Thanks to Mike for the great photos. I love the first one here where he is going for the bunny!

Tyler Lure Courses in Rocky Mount, NC

The weather was hot and the field was dry, so Tyler ended up with a pretty good tear to one of his front paw pads. Despite the mild injury, Tyler had a good time, as always. This boy does love to run!

ASFA trial in Rocky Mount, NC

Saturday (April 19th, 2008) was a great day in Rocky Mount, sunny and warm (almost too warm for this time of year). We had a great turnout - 52 dogs each day - and with great judges and lots of help, the trial ran very smoothly. Whippet open had 11 entries and Tyler took 4th place (10 more points towards his ASFA championship!). Way to go Tyler. Our friends Keely and Kenny placed as well with a 2nd and 3rd place finish. Good job!
Sunday (April 20th) was not as sunny, some rain in the morning and down-pours during the runoffs and BIF. Keely, Kitty and Kenny placed today (2, 3 and 4).

AKC - Hickory trial in on March 30th, 2008

Yet another rainy day (see post on Cali's page from yesterday), still cold, but lots of fun and another 5 point major at stake. Today was Tyler's turn to shine. He started out in 1st place after the preliminary runs, but took 4th place overall. Go Tyler!
